Victoria Hernandez Garcia, Co-Editor in Chief

Victoria Hernandez Garcia is coming back for her second year as part of Becton's Cat's Eye View! She is a junior at Becton Regional and originally joined the Cat's Eye View to be more involved in the school, as well as learn more about student life at Becton. She has been a member of Girls Helping Girls since her freshman year, and hopes to join the Prom Committee-- as she enjoys the support and friendship opportunities the clubs have to offer. During her spare time, Hernandez Garcia enjoys listening to music, catching up with her loved ones, reading, writing, and eating at her favorite local diner in her hometown-- Candlewyck. Hernandez Garcia's goals for the future are to graduate high school and pursue a career in the medical field. Her specific goals in the medical field are to either become a member of the Pediatrics team or to be an Ultrasound Technician. Hernandez Garcia also sets her eyes out on being more involved in her culture and in-turn, visit Mexico one day. When asked about what inspired her to start writing and join Journalism she said, "I want to express my thoughts, and others' thoughts, through writing!” Hernandez Garcia expressed with sincerity how as a child she was shy and used writing as an outlet to express her feelings. From her genuine nature, to her ambitious goals, and the current steps she is taking to be a leader, we can confidently see how Hernandez Garcia will be a helping-hand and positive advocate in our community.
