Claudia Da Mata, Staff Writer
Claudia Da Mata is a proud member of the Cat’s Eye View staff. She is passionate, caring, and kind in nature. Her main priority as of right now is making the most of her high school years. Being that Claudia is a sophomore, she is currently experimenting with certain clubs and extracurricular activities such as the Environmental Club and the Girls Helping Girls Club. She is also a part of the track and soccer team, but does not plan to make sports her career. Unbeknownst to most, Da Mata takes an interest in reading and writing, planning to teach in some capacity one day! Da Mata has also always had a knack for politics and has participated in student government since middle school. Currently, Da Mata is a promoter on the Student Council team alongside Kyla Groh. Once Claudia graduates, she plans on attending college abroad and plans on majoring in Performance Arts. When she is not studying or doing homework, Da Mata enjoys practicing her makeup skills, spending time with friends, or simply going on walks to clear her mind. When asking Da Mata what makes her a worthy journalist, she responded “I like to ask just as much as I like to listen!”
