Luna Celemi, Staff Writer
Luna Celemi is a sophomore at Becton Regional High School who grew up in New York and is now claiming her confidence. She is pulling her weight– joining clubs and extracurriculars. In her free-time, Celemi participates in clubs like Environmental, Gender-Sexuality Alliance, and Girls Helping Girls. Alongside that, Celemi plays volleyball for the school team! These activities keep her occupied during free time as she regains her social skills. As for the suspenseful weight of being a sophomore, she says that it has not hit her yet. “I feel like just the other day I was excited to get into high school.” Celemi has primarily positive feelings towards the prospect of high school, “High school is definitely an important part of our future, but nobody should feel the need to put too much pressure on themselves. My advice is to balance all responsibilities. It gets easier.” In five years time, Celemi can see herself in college. A specific one is not up for debate yet, but it is certain that she wants to stay in the New Jersey area since it is “known, and feels safe.” Careers largely in question are interior design and journalism. We hope to see Luna Celemi flourish and find her roots while writing for the Cat’s Eye View!
