Giana DiLemme, Co-Editor in Chief
Giana DiLemme is currently a senior at Becton Regional High School. She loves being involved in her school's community as she is a part of the Key Club, Girls Helping Girls Club, Chick-fil-A Leadership, Multicultural club, Senior Editor of the Tea Leaf yearbook, President of the PAW club, and runs the social media page for the Environmental Club. WOW! Giana also takes pride in her academic success as she has taken AP and Honors classes all four years of high school, has been inducted into the National Honors Society and World Language Society, was the recipient of the Garibaldi Award for excellence in Italian studies, and is the Vice President of the National Honors Society. Giana has also been playing soccer at Becton for the last four years, being on the varsity team for the last two. Outside of school, Giana enjoys listening to music and discovering new artists to obsess over. Her favorite band of all time is Greta Van Fleet, a blues-rock band from Michigan. Giana intends on pursuing higher education outside of New Jersey, with her top choices being Boston University and the University of Michigan where she hopes to major in Political Science. As of 2020, with the Black Lives Matter movement coming to the forefront of media, Giana has been immersed in politics and realized how important it is to be involved. She is very passionate about helping others through systemic change and policy. Giana is truly excited for the future and cannot wait to go to college to gain new life experiences!
