Nicolle Guarin, Staff Writer
Nicolle Guarin is starting her senior year at Becton Regional High School. This is her first year on The Cat’s Eye View and she cannot wait to start! Guarin lived in Columbia for the majority of her life and now lives in the community accompanied by her favorite four-legged family member, her dog! Although she is not currently in any clubs, she has hopes to join the Girls Helping Girls Club offered at Becton to become more involved with her peers.
Outside of school, Guarin has started a new job at Crumbl Cookie and will also be interning at Holy Name Hospital in hopes to someday become a nurse. “I love helping people,” she commented passionately when asked why nursing is the career meant for her. Furthermore, when she is not in school or working, Guarin enjoys dancing, which she has been participating in since the age of 12. Guarin also loves to bake and listen to music, as well as watch the TV shows “Gossip Girl” and “Pretty Little Liars.”
Guarin is not quite sure where she wants to go to college yet, but that has not halted her excitement for graduation. She continues to live by the quote, “You only live once,” and is thrilled to embark on her writing journey with The Cat’s Eye View!”
