To kick off the 2026 New Year, students at Becton Regional High School, many of them members of the National Honor Society, reflected on their goals and New Year’s resolutions. January is an especially meaningful time for goal setting, as it offers a fresh start and an opportunity for students to reset their focus, establish positive habits, and plan for success in the months ahead.
Students shared a variety of resolutions, including saving money, becoming more productive, procrastinating less, and making healthier choices such as reducing fast-food consumption. Many also expressed how much they appreciated the two-week holiday break, noting that the time for rest and relaxation was both refreshing and necessary.
As students return to their classroom routines, they are now back in full swing meeting deadlines and preparing for the end of the marking period on January 16. With renewed motivation and clear goals in mind, the Becton community looks ahead to a productive start to the 2026 year.
Good luck, and Happy New Year to all!
