Junior/Senior Prom 2021
June 2, 2021, was an incredibly magical night for many Becton students. Guys and gals dressed to impress their friends and family. Becton’s juniors and seniors entered the beautiful Legacy Castle located in Pompton Plaines. Once inside they promptly escorted to take professional photos. At around 6 pm, the doors to the main room opened where they danced the night away, and some teachers even joined in on the fun. Students had access to the balconies with breathtaking views of the area throughout the night to get some fresh air or take aesthetically pleasing pictures. Junior Sarah Burgos enjoyed the prom, especially the dinner, raving that “…The Caesar Salad and the Penne Vodka were super delicious” and “The dessert buffet was amazing!” Toward the end of the night, the attendees witnessed the crowning of the prom court. Mathias Gomez was crowned prince, Sebrina Castillo princess, Sylvie Weiner prom queen, and Sean Soler prom king. This night was a very nice break from the stress and hardships brought by COVID-19 for the juniors and seniors. Hopefully, the rest of the school year will bring more fun and relaxation.
