While teachers here love teaching, they also have a new love and appreciation for our latest Wildcat Country Cafe! Becton has just opened up a new exclusive program for BRHS staff to order healthier and more convenient lunch options right here at school.
Ms. Heather Constantino, the head of the food service program, The Pomptonian Food Service, stated that the program started “Sept. 2023 and that there was a call for it!” The lunch orders are $7.75 each and you have the option to add any extras or request modifciations. Each week the meals change, so there is always a different variety of meals to choose from. There are five different options per day, and 25 different options per week!
The food that is being served comes from certified locations such as ShopRite and local farms. So far, the teachers love these meals! They all note them as being “healthy and excellent tasting,” “convenient when I don’t have leftovers in my refrigerator,” and a great option if they just want to treat themselves to something yummy!
All lunches are created by Constantino, and with her experiences in fine dining, it’s safe to say that Becton’s beloved staff will be getting a delicious meal no matter which option they choose.
