Pat Verile, an admissions officer from Berkeley College, visited English Teacher Mrs. Scalera’s period eight senior English class on September 15. Mr. Verile was invited to speak to the class regarding important points like interviewing skills, plagiarism and resume writing. He also spoke about the tuition rate and admissions process at Berkeley College.

Mrs. Scalera said that inviting guest speakers into her senior classes allows students to get to know more about different opportunities to further their education, and also, who they need to contact if they have any questions regarding each school. Besides teaching literature and grammar, college and career readiness is one of her main goals each year.

More than 8,300 students enroll at Berkeley College each year; therefore, the school is diverse. With campuses in New Jersey and New York, students can pursue a degree on-site or also take advantage of their online course offerings.
