Becton’s October Artist of the Month is Alison Przekupowski!
Przekupowski shared that being recognized for this honor is deeply satisfying. Although she had always admired the title of Artist of the Month, Przekupowski hadn’t actively pursued it, making the recognition even more meaningful. She is prided in all of her artistic works, however Przekupowski is fairly proud of her low-poly portrait which she made last year and was exhibited at the Bergen County Art Show.
Przekupowski has taken art classes for as long as she can remember, exploring various artistic niches such as digital art, cultural art, graphic design and currently fashion design and digital photography. “I’ve always leaned to be more creative,” she further explains. As a result, she is considering pursuing an art-related path in her future – but she eagerly expresses an interest in studying cosmetology.
Mrs. Rachel Lennon and the art department choose artists who have passion in their subject and an extra spark of creativity. They also look for artists who go above and beyond to execute their ideas through particular skill and hard work.
Congratulations Alison Przekupowski – We know that no matter what you pursue, you will excel!
