Becton announces this year’s honor guards

Due to their class rank, twelve Becton Regional High School juniors have been chosen as honor guards for the Class of 2018 graduation.

The list of students includes (back row) Alessandra Acevedo, Zackary Deleasa, Jenny Palzom, Cindy Muco & Wonhui Seo (front row) Veronica Hernandez, Tenzin Dekyong, Angelyn Ariza, Alyssa Lesho & Jacklyn Sewastianowicz. Not pictured: Paige Kruse & Rodrigo Noguiera.

The role of an honor guard at the ceremony is to escort the senior class into graduation and then form a walkway for the seniors to pass through.

Female honor guards will wear light colored semi-formal dresses and the males will dress in tuxedos.

In preparation for the annual event, honor guards will attend graduation rehearsal along with the Class of 2018.
