President Roy Forys, Vice President Nick Barbo, Secretary Jared Farhat, and Treasurer Claudia Horan have been elected as the new Senior Council for the 2014-2015 school year.

“Roy is definitely fit for the job. He’s been captain of the football team for two years now, displaying his clear leadership skills,” said Senior John Zierold.

“I would like to be remembered for making an enjoyable experience for the senior body, taking the opinions of others into account, and acting as a role model – hopefully setting a good example for my peers,” Roy stated. “I would want to be remembered as a very considerate president.” He also adds that he would enjoy seeing the entirety of his class walk at graduation come June.

Treasurer Claudia Horan is ready to tackle her newfound responsibilities as well by seeing that any money raised helps fund various different events and activities. “As seniors it is imperative that we all work together to build many moments that we can look back on, and truly remember our time in high school as a fun and awesome experience,” said Claudia.

Furthermore, Jared Farhat said, “Having held the secretary position last year, I’m equipped with the knowledge of what the job entails. I’m looking forward to once again improving the school, and making our senior year memorable.”

Finally, when it comes to making changes around the school, Nick Barbo considers himself up for the job. “I would really like to improve the lunch room situation. Maybe we could work on getting the juniors to the front of the line, since their out-of-the-building privileges have been taken away,” stated Nick.
