“Becton’s Best” Talent Show puts creativity on display

The winner of the Becton Talent Show is Happenstance performing “Home Sweet Home”.

Junior Class Advisor and Physical Education Instructor Ms. O’Driscoll coordinated a successful talent show, which took place in the B-PAC on March 23. The talent show consisted of 12 various acts by students who attend Becton Regional High School as well as a few talented adolescents from Garfield High School, Wood-Ridge Intermediate School, Pompton Lakes High School and a few Becton alumni. The winners of the “Becton’s Best” Talent Show are as follows:

First Place: Happenstance, which is made up of Becton’s Joshua Novello and Justin Wojna and Pompton Lakes High School Student Patrick Shaw. They performed “Home Sweet Home”.

Second Place: The Spartan Cheerleaders made up of Becton students Lauren Kaska and Tyler Koch and Becton alumni Cordell Greer and Jamie Scangarella. They performed a comedic SNL skit.

Third Place: Becton Student Neel Shah who performed a mash-up of modern songs on the keyboard and Becton Student Benedykt Skwarek who performed Henry Purcell’s “Jig” and “Rondo” on the guitar.
