The Becton Key Club is participating in several events and projects during the first half of the year. “I’m excited about the school wide interest in Key Club,” said Key Club Adviser Mrs. Muniz regarding the first meeting of the year.

First, students can be found volunteering at the East Rutherford Columbus Day Street Festival the weekend of October 10 and 11.

Also in October, the club is participating in the “Students Change Hunger” food drive from October 1 to November 20. They are also collecting donations for “Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF” for Halloween.

Later this holiday season the club is working with “Operation Christmas Child” to make boxes filled with presents for children in need.

Finally, in December, the Key Club will be attending NJAA’s Charitable Fund Children’s Holiday Party at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus.
