The William E. Dermody Free Library in Carlstadt has several events coming up:

Story time occurs every Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. for newborns up until four years old.

Craft time is weekly as well at 3:30 p.m. Bell ornament crafts is on December 3, holiday tree crafts is on December 10, and forever snowflake crafts is on December 17.

Young Adult Cooking Class will be on December 18 at 7 p.m. for grades 5 to 12. Participants will cook a dinner and dessert but must sign up ahead of time at the front desk to reserve a seat.

The Carlstadt Library Evening Book Club will be reading The Center of Everything by Laura Moriarty on December 10 at 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Coffee, tea, and dessert will be served.

Christmas Carol, a comedy play featuring local talent, will be presented on December 3 at 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be served.

Yoga Classes are in session every Saturday morning from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Those interested must sign up beforehand.

 

The East Rutherford Memorial Library will be hosting many events:

The library has a teen tutoring program for math, science, writing, and English for grades Kindergarten through 6. Ask children’s librarian Maria Russo for times and availability.

Itty Bitty Babies Story Time occurs every Tuesday until December 16 at 10:30 a.m. for newborns up until two years old. Registration is required at the front desk.

Toddler Story Time and Craft occurs every Thursday until December 18 at 10:30 a.m. for ages two to four. Registration is required at the front desk.

Bowwow Book Club will be on December 10 at 6:30 p.m. Read to a therapy puppy, Rodney. This activity is for ages three to eight. Registration is required.
