Ms. Annitti’s Environmental Club has been awarded $1,000 by the Bergen County Utilities Authority. The club adviser applied for the grant at the conclusion of the 2013-2014 year and attended a ceremony on Oct. 3 where all the grant recipients were presented with an award.

“The money will be used to continue to improve Becton’s recycling efforts,” said Ms. Annitti. Her goal is to buy new recycling bins for each classroom.
