For many Becton students, the holiday season is more than winter vacation and unwrapping presents; it also a time for generosity.

Becton’s Blood Drive on December 17 attracted 88 donors, who contributed one pint each.  Community Blood Services distribute this blood supply to local medical centers in hopes that each pint helps save a life.

“My grandma needed blood when she was in the hospital, so I know how much people need it and how important it is to donate,” shared Senior Kayla Clarke.
